  1. I'm looking for software that will allow me to save both forward playing and reverse playing footage (similar style used in footballers dancing to music).

    I found this in a post on the Pinnacle Studio 8 board. It is a handy (and free) tool that allows you to create "reverse" movies (i.e., played backward). It also has some mirror features. The site is in German (I think), but the program has an English setting.

    To do what you want, you would need to create the backward clips using vToolbox and then use another editing program to combine the forward and backward clips together.
