    I keep getting an error with DVDMF2.5. Everytime I burn a DVD, DVDMF re-encodes the Video then just before burning the disc I get the error "Unspecified Error ReportID 0x80070057(87) [93006:1:0]"
    I then have to reboot the PC and run DVDMF again then output to DVD and it just picks up where it left off.
    I am running WinXP, with a Pioneer DVR-106D burner, Athlon 2600+, 1GB RAM.

    Another thing I am wondering is can I just create the DVD folders on the HDD without burning to the disc, test view it then burn to DVD-R later? Would I just burn the folders straight to the disc or would it need to be formatted differently?

    Dunno about 2.5 , but MF2 has the option to make a VIDEO_TS
    folder/fileset . It's on the last step. I always do this so I can
    preview with WinDVD

  3. Recommendations:

    1. Download/install the "CD/DVD Burning Patch Update" found near the bottom of the Web page at the following link:

    http://www.ulead.com/tech/dmf/dmf_ftp.htm

    This should address the [93006:1:0] error, which usually suggests a new drive is being utilized that requires the compatibility update.

    2. You can click the second button in the lower left corner of your DVD MovieFactory interface to gain access to the PROJECT SETTINGS.

    - Click the button;

    - After the PROJECT SETTINGS pop-up menu appears, check the DO NOT CONVERT COMPLIANT FILES check box IF YOUR SOURCE MEDIA IS DVD COMPLIANT;

    - Click the CHANGE MPEG SETTINGS button;

    - After the small pop-up menu appears click the CUSTOMIZE option;

    - After the VIDEO SAVE OPTIONS pop-up menu appears, click the GENERAL and COMPRESSION tabs to adjust your project settings to precisely match the properties of your source video/audio;

    - Click the OK buttons to accept the settings;

    - Try burning the disc.

    I've explained how to do this in the tutorial at the following link:

    Hope this helps,
