  1. Alright... I am probably the lamest person on the forums, but I have a quick question. First a little bit of background... The only DVD player that I have is my X-Box, and I do not have a DVD burner, so I have resorted to creating VCDs and such. The problem that I run into is that VCDs were rumored to not work on the X-Box, and low and behold, they do not, even on RWs. Now for my point. I have heard that the X-Box WILL support a format known as miniDVD or "cDVD." So my question is... Is it possible to take an .avi stream and make it so that it will be in the cDVD format? This surely seems possible, and the solution seems to be to break down the stream into its basic components of video and audio. (Keep in mind that this stream is NOT a DVD rip.) Any suggestions?

I think you have to chip the XBox to make it play (S)VCD - Also what DVD drive fitted in the XBox makes a difference... If it's not chipped already, a DVD player will be cheaper (and less hazzle).

Pull out $30 and buy a DVD player at Walmart, Ultimate Electronics, Target, Fry's or Circuit City. I know there's one around you somewhere.

Fry's has Digitrex or whatever real cheap (Arlington, Plano, Mesquite).
