I have a Sony DRU-500A and have only used the Ritek media after getting past the initial realization that a lot of the media out there just plain sucks.

Well, it's time for me to order up a big batch of disks (200+) and I don't want to get my ass kicked on shipping.....

http://www.supermediastore.com/ has the Prodisc 4X DVD-R disks pretty cheap and they come with free shipping.

What's the track record on these? It's been a while since I purchased any discs other then the Riteks but if I can save myself 20-30 bucks due to free shipping then I want to.....

According to the site the Prodisc is a good media type but I haven't a clue on this one and you can't always trust advertising.

Actually, they are 48.99 right now but still not a bad price. I trust Newegg more as an online store anyway so I may pay the three or four bucks more for ordering through Newegg anyway. Shipping is still free with Newegg too.

I would still like to know what people think of the Prodisc media.

Well we sure don't want that to happen ... do we.

Guys ... I was not prepared for this order so soon ... I checked the UPS tracking number ... it was being delivered today !! I just ordered it ... Sunday Night I believe ... SUPER Quick.

And after going to Fresno [50 minute drive one way] for Internship Interview ... I stopped by the office of the apartment complex I live in and the Apartment manager told me UPS already drove through here ... and yep when I got to my door ... a UPS sticker was there.

Full price was $49 bucks ... the company is in California ... so I got stuck paying State Tax ... too.

We're a small town ... so I took off looking for the Brown truck ... I thought I got lucky ... spotted one eating lunch at Carl's Jr ... wrong UPS guy ... turns out the guy I'm looking for lives in Hanford and he goes home for lunch. I'm tempted to go out again after 3 o'clock and look for him ... instead of waiting for tomorrow.

Ah what the heck ... I can wait for him tomorrow ... I'll be here.
