    i know many about converting things... but i have this problem, i have an xvid with ac3 sound, when i extract it using virtualdubmod to .ac3, dvd maestro gives me an medi detection error... how can i solve this problem? (reencode using besweet creates a non compliant ac3 file for dvd players use ffmpeg to create an ac3 from any source (only 2ch....))

    tried ac3fix gui or beslice(included in besplit) and fixed the ac3?

    no, you donīt understand... ac3fix only fixes bad frames... there are no bad frames (there 2 types ac3, one supported by computer, no problems at all, and you have dvd ac3 files... ffmpeg creates dvdplayer compliant ac3 files, unlike besweet)
