Update PS2 Back-Ups

Hey guys,
I'm sure you may know me from past posts about different problems.

Well I have none right now, But I do have a question.
I have successfully backed-up Vice City, but it loads slowly, and I also backed up Madden '04, and that loads up fine, but then might freeze up for a minute or two during gameplay. Why does it do that?

P.S. When I burned Madden '04, it gave me an error message at the end in RecordNow MAX, but I forgot what it was. But Madden '04 loads up fine.

--The process I did with Vice City was:
Global Image with RecordNow MAX, then burned the .gi.

--The process I did with Madden '04 was:
DVD Decrypter Iso-Read, and RecordNow MAX to burn .iso.
[Being the fact that RecordNow MAX also did not let me Build a Global Image. (It gave me a seperate error message at the beginning.)]

But anywho, why does Madden '04 freeze during gameplay, and why does Vice City load slowly?

bad burn, bad disc?

did you get any read errors when you ripped it in dvd decypter?

No, when I read it in DVD- Decrypter, it had no errors.

I burn on Verbatim DVD-R DataLife Plus.

Maybe I dont have the newest PXHelper? Could you give me a link?

Were the originals that you cccopied them from scratched or dirty?
It they werent then give an Apple brand disk a shot from an oringal of those games from a different source

The Game was brand new.

The thing is, I wasn't able to do a global image on Madden '04. And then at the end, I got that error message after I burned it.

Maybe it was something wrong with RecordNow MAX? If so, then what?

Also, could I get a link to the new PXHelper?

I dont have an line to PXHelper but you might want to try to get a different copy of RNM

No chip plays all games.

GTAVC has numerous versions, only some of them work.

Alright then, I have Sonic RecordNow, will that help? That came with my computer.

So GTA: Vice City doesn't work with everything. But how about Madden '04?

Well I'll be backing-up a copy of "Enter The Matrix", "Test Drive", and "Castlevania" today, and let you know how it turns out.

Well, I made successful copies of both Matrix, and Test Drive. They don't skip, freeze, or load slowly.

For both of them I did the following:
1) ISO Read in DVD Decrypter
2) Burned with RecordNow MAX

I meant to tell you guys before, I have RecordNow MAX version 4.51.

Neither of the games gave any errors at all, unlike Madden '04 which gave me an error after burning in RecordNow MAX.

So... what do you guys think happened to Madden? I guess its not that big of a deal, but when you are playing in the middle of a game and have to restart it due to it freezing, or wait around 5 minutes to continue playing, it gets annoying.
