  1. Is it possible to back up a whole movie onto one CD?

If it is, how is it done?

    Thanks, Tzamroor

Sure it's possible. It's possible to put a 3 hour movie on one CD for that matter. The only question is will it look good? I wouldn't put a movie longer than 100 minutes on a single CD. Split into 2 discs. To find out how to convert a DVD to Dixv/Xvid, check out the "Guides" section on the left of this page. There are lots of ways to perform this project so choose the one you think is easiest.

  4. Also if the movie is less than 90-95 ins and you use 99min cdr then you can convert to mpeg1 vcd.. reasonable quality.
Corned beef is now made to a higher standard than at any time in history.
The electronic components of the power part adopted a lot of Rubycons.

Don't take this the wrong way but I'm curious why you feel it's not possible when everyone confirmed that it is. Is your movie too long? Just wondering.

  7. teegee420 - what I meant was that I did not think it was possible to fit a good quality dvd conversion onto one 700Mb SVCD.

I Backed up a movie and it came to just under 1.5GB.

I was wondering if it was possible, keeeping the quality I managed to get, to end up with just one CD rather than two or more.

Please see your answer regarding the three hour film on one CD.....

    Thanks, Tzamroor
