New firmware update now out that boost the DVD-R writing to 4x.

Khypermedia drives that are Benqs can also take use this update.

Someone just brought it to my attention that Benq has removed the link to the new firmware without any reasons stated. I'm a bit concerned now as to why. Usually when companys remove firmware its because they discovered a problem. I'm going to see if I can get some answers.

Finally got an answer;

Hi, sir

The ver. B3D7 is for test only, so we removed it from website after a week,
but it doesn't mean there is a problem with this version.

If you encounter a serious problem when you flash to B3D7, please feedback
