How do I burn the files that I get when I convert to DVD in Tmpg. They are not like anything I have ever seen.

Look to the left in the guides under "Authoring".
That will be a start. -

You probably have an mv file along with a wav file. How you burn it depends on how you want to Author it. Yea, you're not finished yet.
You will get a lot of read the guides and you really should. I take those files and load em in dvd author and then run em and burn em.
Of course if you have phantoms requiring bridals and nose toe with corsairs on cat 1&2 then u have a problem sailor.
