    How do i make a svcd or vcd from a xvid or avi file. Do i need a larger disc to burn a 700mb file? Its a very good quality video and i would like to put on a disk but i cant seem to get it to burn because of its size please help.

    Get TMPGEnc and encode it to (S)VCD.
    Open Nero, select either SVCD or VCD, (however you encoded it), and burn.
    Nero will select the mode for burning, depending on the format.
    If it's too big for SVCD, you can join, then reseparate into 3 (or more), then re-encode in TMPGEnc, or simply burn as VCD.
