    Hi

I have used dvddecrypter to transfer VOB files from my film to my HDD. The total file size however is 7.4 GB therefore being too big to burn to DVDR. Is there any way of shrinking these files that are on my HDD as i no longer have the discs so cannot use DVDShrink to transfer the data to my HDD.
    Thanks

  2. you can still use dvdshrink if you open "file" rather than "disc"

  3. Did you copy the whole DVD (ie IFO/BUP/VOB) files or just the VOB files ?.

If you copied the whole DVD than any program like DVDshrink or DVD2one will be able to compress it to under 4.7GB, If youve just got the VOB files then I dont think any compression program will work coz the DVD structure is missing.

  4. I think that Rejig can do it from just the VOB's. Not absolutely certain though as I haven't tried it.

Or you can use IFOedit to create a new DVD structure if you did'nt get those with DVDdecrypter. Then you can use DVDShrink to shrink it.
