    With Studio?

    Assuming you didn't make the AVI in Studio 8...

    You are probably dealing with a DivX codec...especially if it is something you downloaded.

    You'll need to convert that to a "normal" codec (like cinepak or indeo, etc) before Studio 8 will take it.

    It may be that it's a type 1/type 2 issue. Pinnacle only accepts type 2. If so then there is a freeware 1 to 2 converter available on Doom 9.
