I’m having problems with playing back avi’s I captured in Premiere. But it plays back fine in Premiere’s timeline but not with windows media player. I have the same program on my desktop and it works perfect. Could I copy the codec’s off the good computer over to the lap top to fix this? Both computers are using XP. Or what would be the best way to clean up and use only the codec’s I need.

I recommend looking at the list of all the codecs and filters on both of your computers via "Video Codecs" control panel and "sysenum.exe" program that comes with Graphedit to know what is installed and compair...
Also, review the Add/Remove Programs control panel on both computers to compair...
What do you think?
