  1. Hi

I have a *.cue file that is in SVCD of a *.mpg file, and I would like to convert it do *.avi.
I have VirtualDub MPEG2 but when I am converting it to *.avi an error message appears saying that an audio frame gives an error in minute 12:13. I can't fix this. (can I )

Anyway, wich is the best way to convert *that* to *.avi?

I want to make it *.avi because I want to join the two CD's (yes, they are 2) and then convert to DVD.
Is there a way to join two *.mpg as easy as joining 2 *.avi with VirtualDub?

    .oO(hm, so many questions...)

    Help me please.
    Thanks,
    Tiago.

The first thing you need to do is extract the mpegs from the .cue and .bin files. You can use ISObuster for said task. To join the mpegs you can use TMPGEnc(go to File>MPEG Tools>Merge&Cut) or Womble MPEG VCR. To convert to avi, stick with Virtualdub MPEG2 and make sure you de-interlace(assuming the mpegs are interlaced).

    No, no, no!
Extract the two mpegs. (Use the method teegee420 describes)
    Run them thru svcd2dvdmpg
    Author as DVD.
    Done.
No quality loss. No need to join. No need to reencode.

  6. the thing is that I have to join them so that I can test the subtitles. But joining them only in *.mpg will do just fine, and then convert to *.m2v with TMPGEnc will do to. My problem now is:

HOW TO JOIN 2 *.MPG FILES!!??

    Thanks,
    Tiago.

Well, there's TMPGEnc MPEG Tools... Then again, you might get sync problems...
Womble MPEG VCR seems to be best at this, even if I haven't had the pleasure to try it myself...
