    I'm planning to get an 8x drive and am focusing on the Plextor PX-708A. Has anyone had any luck playing disks burned on the PX-708A on Apex DVD players? I have the 1500.

    Thats a broad question.

    What media are you using?

    the apex should play anything you can throw at it from any writer.

    I've got some Imation/Ricoh DVD+R 4x, among others. I guess there's no real way to be sure until I try it out....
