    HP DVD+RW 10-pack = $17.44
    HP DVD+R 10-pack = $11.44
    HP DVD+R 25-spindle = $24.94

No indication of the speed ratings. The 10-packs are in slim cases. No rebates needed!

Does anyone know who makes the HP media Staples sells? Is it Ricoh?

Just an update of what I've found:

The 10-packs are 4x Philips media (which are good).
The 25-spindle is 2.4x unknown (didn't buy it).

At least this is the case at my local store.

  4. These come in both 2.4x and 4x. My Staples had both (same sku), and I got the 4x. They identify as CMC MAG.F01.

I urge you to stay away from these at all costs. I burnt 10 discs and only had 3 come out OK. It doesn't matter what speed, 8x, 4x, 2x, the results were the same. Not only that, they took about 3 times as long to burn as they should have. Pure crap if you ask me.

What drive did you use to write them? Have used plenty of CMC+R 2.4X and had no issues. If the write strategy is not supported with your drive you might need a FW update.

  6. I was lucky enough to go to staples one day when that sale was on. I got one of each. The DVD+rw disc for my Apex recorder, and the DVD+R for my TDK burner and all have worked great so far. Hopefully I don't have any problems, does anyone else have any experience with these disc?
