  1. My primary card is an AGP AIW 7500 and I just got an ATI 7000 PCI card to run a second monitor.

Short story long, MMC wouldn't work as wizard put both drivers the same so after some tweaking, I loaded the newest driver would be on the 7500 and an older driver would be on the 7000.

So it works. But when I turn on the tuner on the 7500 and view (not capture) Satellite broadcast, it's not the quality of what it was when I only had the 7500. It's "OK" but I can see the difference. Written numbers and words are blurry.

This never happened when I used my other non ATI PCI card. Story as to why I don't use it is too long.

So is it probably impossible to get the quality I had before off the 7500 using an ATI PCI card?

    My system is:

    Shuttle AN35N Ultra MOBO
    AMD XP 2500+ barton
2 sticks dual channel mushkin PC3200 RAM (2x512)
Right now running at a 166 FSB with auto ram timings.

    Thanks.

Why do you need two on one system? You can only use them one at a time anyhow. Dropped performance I'd assume otherwise.

Since 98SE (from memory) multiple video cards are supported.

  4. This second card is not a capture card. Only used as a desktop extension.

  5. Guess it was just an accident that I got it to work in the first place. Now I can't even use MMC unless I disable the extended desktop. Once disabled, MMC works but display settings won't let me activate the second display unless MMC is off. I'll go play around with other capture software and see if that affects anything.
