    30-40GB isn't that big these days. I think the best buy $/MB are the 60GB. Personally I like WD.

  5. Why isn't a 30 gig HD big anymore? I have a 30 WD with lots of games installed and only 6 gig taken up and everything runs fast.

    Apparently you don't do much capturing in uncompressed AVI format. I recently captured an hour and half concert and the files totaled almost 20 GB. Extended time video capture will fill up a 30 gigger in no time..
