  1. I'm using an Epson r300; how long should I let my Ritek DVDs dry after printing (the entire DVD is being printed on, if that matters)? Also, with Epson's Print CD program, there's an option to print the image either lighter or darker, does this mean more or less ink will be consumed? Which settings do you use? Thanks!

  2. if your dvd is still damp after more than a couple of minutes you are putting too much ink on the disc (IMHO), try changing to a setting that will apply less ink. you can try to change the media type in the printer driver. I don't own this printer so I can't give you any specifics though.

You have a basic lighten / darken control on the cd printing program itself. You can of course access the Epson R300 prefferences and set the quality controls the same way you would do with any other printing job. I find the setting the paper type as Photo Paper and the darken the image by one tick does the jop. I get nice images that are almost dry as they emerge. Within minutes, they fully dry to the touch on Ritek 4x G04 printable. I set up a custom setting that I named DVD/CD and you can access that in the advanced settings tap on the epson R300 printing interface.
No DVD can withstand the power of DVDShrink along with AnyDVD!
