I'm running VirtualDub 1.5.4 and wanted to use huffyuv-2.1.1 codec for capturing TV through my TV turner card. I downloaded huffyuv-2.1.1 (compressed), unzipped it and installed by, "... right click on huffyuv.inf and select "Install."". It appeared to install. However, when I go to VirtualDub (AVI capture mode) >> Video >> Compression, I do not see huffyuv in the "Select video compression" box. What obvious thing am I missing or I've failed to do?

The only thing i can think of is it might be your OS, i've just installed i on my PC and it installed ok and it shows up in VDUB.

    I'm using WinXPPro.

Other than that i don't know what it could be.

I'm running W2k Pro. It has to be something very obvious that I'm overlooking.

First time I've heard it. Do I need it or remove it?

    TIA
