  1. First off let me say the community in here is just amazing, i have learned alot. Now on to serious business, after reading many conversion articles about svcd to dvd i finally mastered that process as i just two weeks ago just purchased the plextor px-708a dvdburner. My only problem is i'm trying to make a dvd with proper meuns and chapters i have been reading the guides but it seems not to be comprehensive enough. I tried Tmpeng dvd author which is a good program for inserting the chapters, but the menu creation seems a little lacking. Would it be possible for me to just create the vob files and the chapter points with Tmpeng dvd author and use another program to create menus with customizable buttons, fonts and backgrounds. Iwould like total control of menu creation, would u guys be able to point me to a meun creation software and a guide on how to use it, it would be greatly appreciated.
BTW got over the first step: Conversion now just trying to make a nice dvd. Thanks again guys.

    Hi killerklan,

Though, personally, I've not got round to using it yet (wanna get the hang of TMPGEnc DVD Author first), it seems that DVDLab is considered more powerful - that may be the ticket for you.

As for guides, they should be listed under the details of the app in the "Tools" section.
There is some corner of a foreign field that is forever England: Telstra Stadium, Sydney, 22/11/2003.

  3. I second that, DVD-Lab is an excellent program for the price. It has a 30-day free trial too and will let you do what you want.
