    Hi
    I've upgraded to this software.
The settings boxes are very simplistic for data disks (eg DVD)
There is no where to select multisession or non multisession disk (like in RecordNow Max.)
If I select Track at Once Closed does this cover it?
I want to make sure I'm creating compatible disks like before when using RecordNow Max.

    Cheers

it had really poor sales ... compared to recordnow max (which wasnt well marketed either by all 3 or 4 companies that owned it - though a very good product(max- not deluxe))

So can anyone help with the questions......

If I close a data DVD does that mean it's not multisession??

Is there any way of checking the properties of a burnt DVD to check I have used the correct settings??

    Cheers

The only reason I have to use this program is that I've tried every nero guide in the world and it never produces disks that play in my DVD players!!
I've tried all Nero versions too.

  6. I Have looked around for answer for you but not found any, i think your going to have to do the trial and error and waste a disk or two.

It appears Nero 6.302 now finally appears to burn compatible DVD-video.

  8. I choose "disc-at-once" and check the box that says "will only use disc for one recording" which means no multi-session. Yes, the program's interface has been simplified, but it works great nonetheless. All of the discs I have burned with it play fine on my standalones.

I see no option to choose "use disk for one recording" only whether to close the CD/DVD.
    The disks seem ok tho.
I use track at once closed for DVD.
But now i have discovered Nero 6.302 works as well I have more choice now.

    LOLOLOLOL

I was just clicking on the advanced tab!! Didn't realise just clicking on DATA would produce a menu.

    DOH!!!

    Cheers

P.S. Strangely all the disks i made "track at once closed" played fine, even tho i didn't have "use disk for one recording" ticked.
