  1. Hello,

I want to use Nero for burning a DVD+R . Complete movie incl menu's + extra . Ripping with DVD decrypter + DVDshrink 1.3
In this forum 2 things are written. ISO/UDF or Video DVD mode
What is the best to use if I want to use it on a Stand-alone DVD Player ???
I am not so familiar with NERO. I am used with HP RecordNow (not MAX)
But with RecordNow I have many problems

It is not clear in this forum.

  2. I'd suggest Nero Express 6.3.0.2 for burning (DVD-Video)
It automatically generates both the VIDEO_TS and AUDIO_TS folders.
Put all the files (VOB's, BUP's, IFO's) into the VIDEO_TS folder.

BTW DVD Shrink 1.3 is a bit old

  3. Sorry ,

I use DVD Shrink 3.1.4. Nero 5.5.19 (or something like that). I make an AUDIO_TS + VIDEO_TS that is not the problem . Question is. Should i use in Nero the DVD Video mode or the UDF/ISO mode. Waht is the difference..???

If you use an earlier version like " Nero 5.5.19 (or something like that)" it can make a difference.
In the past "DVD-Video" had compatibility problems thats why people used DVD-ROM (UDF/ISO) mode

    Update your Nero to 5.5.10.54

I believe those problems have been fixed in the latest versions.
Use Nero Express DVD Video as I mentioned above

I would use video mode in Nero 6 also.
But I use Gearpro from www.gearsoftware.com Since I found it the most reliable program. So I haven't used nero for a while now, but didn't have a problem with using video mode when I did use it.
