    I give the guy props. It takes guts to be high in microsoft and strut around with a mac. All i can say is i cant wait for the new microsoft office X.

    Ok, this is a little extreme:

    they recounted with pride such tales as the colleague who broke up with a girlfriend who bought a Windows PC.
    Must have been a good strong relatioship there

    I don't think you Mac usersneed to worry about updates for Office going away. You could always file a class action against MS if they stop, since the Office product Word is so invasive into the business world, you could claim that they are trying to stop the use of Macs in "proper" businesses.

    How are the open source Word compatible applications? They seem to work well for Linux from what I hear.
    Hope is the trap the world sets for you every night when you go to sleep and the only reason you have to get up in the morning is the hope that this day, things will get better... But they never do, do they?
