We are a small AV training company that needs to convert a number of already existing videotapes to MPEG-1 standard MPEG files. From these we would expect to edit them in-house on a Mac, producing small excerpts in mpg and avi formats for promotion purposes. We'll also need to convert the full MPEGs (typically 30-45 minutes) to VCDs, burning the final product in-house with Toast 5 on the Mac.
If you have the proper equipment and would like to do the conversions for us at reasonable cost, please contact me. Be prepared to tell me your encoding resources and provide me with references and sample product you've done previously. Also what you would charge us and when you could do the work. Southern Cal location preferred but we could work with electronic comunication OK.
