  1. I used dvd decryptor, dvdsrhink, and copytodvd to do the job. worked fine when i tested it on my DVD+RW. Then I busted out the DVD-R's (starlogic brand). When the movie is burned everything is fine but when I go to different parts of the movie using the scrolling bar, the program freezes if I seek to areas towards the end of the movie but not areas in beginning of the movie. Any ideas?

  3. Yes, I tried with a Ricoh DVD+RW that came with the burner and it worked fine. I've managed to figure out that both of my dvdroms will not read the outer areas of the disk. I'm not talking about the very outer edges either... During movies, the first 60% of the movie plays fine, the last parts freeze, skip, pixelate etc every second. When I go into Nero 6 and choose READ TRACK function under EXTRAS and look at what was written on the DVD, it lets me scroll 60% thru as well before I can't look anymore and the thing tells me "block unreadable". Also, the latter vobs on the DVD (like vobs 5+) can't be moved or copied while the earlier VOBS can. I am 99% sure its my crappy starlogic media, but shouldn't the media still work though? I mean, its still a DVD-R sold by a major retailer(office max) right? THey can't just sell dvdr media that fails any data written on outer half of the cd right?
