i have a 2X they are very slow, regardless if ur watching movies or not, u must at least have a 6X for smooth playback. I got my 2X when PC DVD was 1st released

anarchy_daemon, have you enabled DMA for the "brand new" 2X DVD-ROM? :0
-
Yes I enabled DMA
that helped a little but it was still choppy
but i took it back to the sotre which sold it to me
and madethem(dont ask) exchange it
for a 16x one
now all i need is the dam drivers for the new one
