    Is the phrase 30p used for pence or pounds?

    That would be thirty pence, one hundred pence to the pound and what with the great rate at the minute circa. $1.81 to the pound!
    The commonly used term would be 'thirty pee' (phonetically of course).

    Thanks, somehow I knew it would be you to answer my question. Thats what I thought. Thinking of buyinga book of ebay and he says its 30p extra for international... thats no much at all.
