  1. I am totally lost.. I finally got my DVD to record and on playback it plays then skips forward on occasions .... Other then that quality is good.

A few of my customers also mentioned the same thing.... I use Nero 6.0 to Burn a file created in DVDit... The source came from Adobe Permier 6.5.. It does the same thing on -R or +R media types... Presently I am using TDK...

Nero is set to DVD video....

    Can anybody help???

It truly seems that the media you are using is the culprit, are you using cheap media?? Because the same thing used to happen to me I was using a cheap brand and all the movies I burned would pixalate like the way you described but now I switched to princo and no problems so I suggest you try a different brand of media. 8) 8) 8)

  3. Cheap Media??? Well I guess that is relative...

TDK costs $25 for 15 -R.... What other medias will work or where can I purchase them?

You switched to Princo???? On purpose???

Holy cow....Princo is the King of the cheapos. Hope u don't burn any important videos on that stuff.

    Read some forums dude.

Don't buy ANY media cept name brand good stuff.
    Ritek, Maxell, TDK, Fuji

You'll pay 2+ bux a disc.....but skimping on media is biggest (easiest to avoid) mistake u can make when backing up DVD's.
