    Hi i have friends series 10 on dvd episodes 1-8 and have now managed to get hold of episode 9 and 10. i gathered from research that the way to do this is to transfer my dvd onto my HDD using dvd decrypter. I have transfered the data and now have many VOB files. How can i convert this into 8 mpg files (i.e. split into each episode to then add the other two episodes)

    The main content of a VOB is an mpeg2 video stream, so you just have to demux it. Try ReJig for the task.
