  1. yeah i know someone has probably asked this but there are far too many guides out there to search thru.

all i want to know is there an "easy" and simple way to convert divx/xvid with or without ac3 sound to dvdr. Ive seen a few where you need about 4 programs and it involves alot of options and messing about. I would really like a program that will do it all for you, click and go style :P ...or close to that......heres wishing.

    anyone know of anything.

You could always try the all in one tools like nero vision express, ulead dvd moviefactory BUT you will probably get no audio, audio sync problems, stretched images. It depends on the video(lettterboxed usually becomes full screen and stretched) and the audio source(ac3,mp3 vbr cause usually causes no audio or sync problems.

diko and dvd2svcd(avi2dvdr) are also all-in-one tools that uses several tools but you only have to configure in one tool...but I can't say that they are so easy to use...

    Hello Rud,

You could try my DIKO tool. It's aimed exactly to do that. The only catch is that it's a command-line tool and requires some extra software like CCE and Softencode (commercial). The only work you'll have is edit the INI file with program locations and movies, and come back later and get a burned DVD. Subs, PAL to NTSC conversions, AC3, avisynth scripts, almost everything you might need is supported. But you don't need to mess with advanced stuff, default options will give the best result. Check it out:
