Hey everyone,
I've authored a few dvd's from captured sources here and there, but recently I bought a couple movies on DVD that turned out to be letterbox as opposed to anamorphic, and on my new 16:9 TV they just don't look right, even zoomed in. Is there a simple way to rip the DVD's and convert the video to anamorphic and reburn them to DVD-R's? Or will I have to reencode and therefore degrade the picture to a point where it's not worth it?
Thanks for any help

Making it anamorphic requires reeencoding and it will make the video quality worse....you must also resize up the image and it will make it even worse. = Not worth it.
