Header gives you a basic idea. I have no problem authoring in TMPGenc DVD Author. With the burning tool, I see that it gives me the option to create an ISO file and then burn the dvd with an ISO file.
I do not know what an ISO file is?
What is the advantage of burning an ISO file?
Thank you for your assistance.

The advantage of creating an ISO (or you could use ImgTools to do the same thing) is that you can then burn with DVD-writing software that doesn't create the proper version of UDF. (e.g. Roxio 6 Data DVDs does not create the proper version of UDF)
Stand-alone DVD players are picky about which versions of UDF they support (IIRC, the official is 1.02, but Roxio burns as 1.05 UDF). -
An iso file is a container file or image file of the dvd files that can be burned by any program that supports dvd iso burning.
