    What the hell is going on here

    I try to load avi file in TMPGEnc and it wont start thru the wizard and when i try to start with start button i get my player needs mpeg 2 player software

    it also wont recognize the avi file

    You need mpeg-2 player software to play back the mpeg-2 file that TmpGenc will create.
