    Hi,

    i just have a problem. i have an .wmv file which was encoded with wma2 as audio according to mediainfo software. i'm able to view the video but not hear any sound from it. is there any work ard this??

    Try play with another player that has built in video and audio codecs like VLC Media Player.

    i did try with VLC player but still doesn't have any sound.

    Try SMPlayer, KMPlayer or WMP11

    If neither of the above or VLC can play it, there probably is an error with the audio in that file
