  1. http://disccity.co.uk are currently offering Ritec orange (overprint) GO4 X4
    DVD-R for £16.25 inc vat. (65p) each.

This seems are really good price however I have never used this media and I would like the opinion of the forum before I buy. I am using Sony 510AK.

Can someone also explain the meaning of the term "overprint". I have seen a few possible explinations of what this but nothing consistant. Does the fact that it is an overprint effect the overall quality of the disk...

(I am new to the forum...)

    Cheers

    Clint37....

    Taken from the www.svp.co.uk website:

You may care to check out the SVP prices, they are superb for blank disks.
An order of mine placed yesterday for Ritec G04's arrived today (it was supposed to be on a 3/4 lead time).
IMO overprints are not worth the saving, when you can get 25 Ritek A Grade GO4's for £17.50
Anyway, the ones you refer to are cheaper at SVP
Good luck with your decision on where to buy

    Clint,

I have also a Sony (DRU500A) and never had problems with Ritek G04. Also, they always burn at 4x.
