Right I'm having some problems with windows media player, everytime I try to play a particular movie its says the file type is not supported. Yet windows media player is supposed to support wmv3 movies. I have d/l the codec from their site, which failed to resolve the problem, I've installed wmp 9, again it failed to play the movie.

Does anyone know what maybe stopping the windows media player from playing this file format? DivX and the bsplayer fail to play it either, and G spot won't render the file despite having the proper codecs installed.
