playback is off color and a bit grainy when I play back some dvds using composite inputs--thru VCR. I have been told this is due to macrovision or other copyguard process. Is there a box or some way to fix it that works. (I tried the new s-video to composite converter at radio shack and it was $20 down the drain). (I am not trying to copy or back them up ...honest...I have a burner and read this board often-- so I wouldn't waste my time copying to vhs...)
    thanks

RadioShack sells a 'Modulator' just for this. In fact they sell a LOT of them, specifically for DVD Players and Video games that can't connect to oldet TV's with no video/audio input. Just ask them for one...

I think this might be something like what you're looking for:

    http://www.radioshack.com/product.asp?catalog%5Fname=CTLG&category%5Fname=CTLG%5F003%5...5Fid=15%2D2525

Radio Shack is pretty good about returns if you have your receipt to bring back that other adapter.

  5. We have a radio shack rf modulater. It works pretty good, but I would try looking at wal-mart though, I think ive seen one there for cheaper.
