    Hello

    I novice at MAC world... and would like to know if that is any DLA aplication for MAC, to allow me use DVD-RW to drag and drop files, without having to burn them in toast.

    my powerbook comes with a MATSHITA DVD-R UJ-816 superdrive.

    i made some research but i can't seem to find a concert answer...

    No. This is not supported in any Mac OS. You can, however, create and mount an empty disk image to the desktop, drag and drop files into it and, when you're ready, burn it to your DVD-RW (presuming you have an external DVD-RW drive). You'll need to erase your DVD-RW disc before you burn to it again.

  3. I believe WriteDVD from SAI (www.softarch.com) will do what you want. But there is only an OS 9 version at the moment...An OS X version is due out sometime this year...

    Havent tried this with a DVD myself since I have the Matsushita UJ-815B (the DVD-RAM version), but if your DVD-RW is in HFS+ format then session burning software like CD Session Burner (? a shareware app, I forget the exact name) may be sort of what you're looking for. At least you wont have to erase the entire RW just to add an extra few megabytes of data ... although each time you add data a new disk icon will get mounted. I remember with the last version of this software there was a bug after you hit a certain number of sessions on a single CD (it was quite a lot, 80 or something I believe).
