  1. Assuming Money is no object.

What is the best program for encoding AVI to M2V files.

I use TMPGenc at the moment but it is slow and i assume there are better encoders.

Does Adobe Premiere do the job of TMPGenc better?

    Thankyou

  2. Many will say CCE. It isn't as easy to use though....

Assuming money is no object, you need a hardware encoder. Premiere is editting software, it will encode but almost certainly uses something like CCE to do the work.

  4. What plug in is the best to use with Adobe Premiere Pro.

If any one has experience of it i would be grateful if you would share the knowledge.

    Thanks

  5. Canopus makes a hardware encoder called the DVStorm2 that is supposed to be The Shit when it comes to encoding.

At the prices they advertise ($1088 MSRP) it oughta be good.

Yeah, I think that cce 2.50 is better output quality from other cce versions,
but I haven't quite figured out how to apply the Matrix changes. They don't
    seem to work.

    In any case :P
