Im desperatly trying to burn a DVD to play it on my Playstation2.

Can someone tell me what NERO settings to make, so that it funktions on a PS2 Player.
My Burning software is NERO Burning rom 6.0.0.9 and the media i used so far was DVD-R.

Ive created the Video files with DVDShrink. The Files VIDEO_TS are created properly but somehow i seem to have the wrong settings to burn in my NERO Burning rom 6.0.0.9
PS2 has a problem to reade the DVD even when i burn it with Nero Express.

I have always used nero express and my backups play on ps2 no probs, but i dont burn too fast. What media you using and the burn speed? Because these might effect the reliability of the disc in playstation 2.
Try burning a little slower 1x or 2x and use an established brand of -R see if that helps any.

Hi...

I use nero 6.3 with DVD+R (Sony and Pengo) and works fine.....(The Sony is 4X speed burning)...
Made it with DVD Shrink....3.1 or 3.02
No special configuration on Nero, just DVD Video and thats it!

PS2 is very picky about media. different models prefer different media. some like +r some like -r some will handle both and some hate anything. the newest ones are more prone to play anything.
