I tried to make a dvd with DVD-lab, but the audio was 44.1 so i had to reencode it, with a reencoding tool of dvdlab, but the final audio is noisy, why does it happens and how can i avoid it?
    thanks.

Do audio conversion in advance. Try SOUNDFORGE

  3. Soundforge is excellent - but expensive.

SSRC is a freeware app that can do resampling.

It's commandline, but you can use it within TMPGEnc the same way you use tooLame in the audio engine, or you can use BeSweetGUI.

SSRC also has a 2-pass normalise function, that you can use if you access it through BeSweetGUI.

It does a pretty good job - although probably not as good as SoundForge.

    cheers,
    mcdruid.

Thanks! I did it, and it worked great!
Anyway, DVD-lab is the best program for authoring DVDs that i have ever seen.

I'm looking for a resampling software and was referred to SSRC... but which file do I use? When I go to the download page, there are several. Of course one says its for resampling, but when I download it, it's a .TAR and then WinZip says it's corrupt. I've tried to download it twice now. Any suggestions? And is this the same SSRC file as what I need for TMPGenc for frequency?

You can try the demo version of WINRAR. In my experience it will open just about any compressed file of which .TAR is one of them. It also works nicely on .gz files too.
