    hi all
    my m8 has a dvd player but wont play certain copys of dvds but will play on other dvd players they r the same dvd disks recorded with the same burning software and encoded with the same software can any1 please tell me y this happens and how 2 fix the problem if it can thanx.and the dvds r region free.

  2. Some DVD players arent DVD+/-R compatable. Meaning, they cannot play them. If you still have the manual, im sure itll give you details on what formats youre able to play. Or, you can simply do a search for your DVD player's model number online and go from there.

    it must play dvd-r or wateva as my m8 has used loads of dvd-r disks thats wat i dont understand y it will play some but not all of them.

    I think its just down to compatability between media and player. It might be a good idea to purchase a pack of dvdr with varying brands in and you can then see which are compatable and which are not.
    Also when you find the successful method its best to stick to it. Its for this reason that i only use Ritek G03 / G04. Its just not worth me considering anything else as i know it will be a major ball ache seeing if the new media plays on all our players.

    I have always used bulkpaq 4xspeed dvd-r disks and like i said i have never had a problem with them b4 which is y i dont understand y a couple of films wont work so i know it's not my disks or the way i decode them or burn them as i do them all the same way i always have.
