Help on Pause Glitches Using DVDShink

Howdy All,

I've been using DVDShrink/Nero to back up my movies, but something seems to be fairly consistent with the DVD's I backup. Once or twice during the course of playback on my stand alone Sony 700 series player, the movie seems to pause for a second or two and then keeps on a going. Strange, seeings it happens on both the Ritech 4X DVD+R's I've burned as well as the Matrix 4X DVD-R's I've burned. I'm just wondering if I've maybe made a mistake not using the deep analysis on the first DVD's I've burned??? It's not that it's totally disturbing or anything, just bugs me a little when it pauses a couple times during playback. It would be nice to have it play straight through to the end without any glitches. I'm using a Sony DRU510A for the burning so I'm thinking this is a pretty stable burner and is just burning what it's told. Any suggestions??

It could be alot of things. Mainly the media. Try burning a movie at 2.4x and report back on the playback pausing issue.

jhey just wondering how fast is your computer and do u have any programs open while doing it? are you using your computer while its burning?
