  1. I have Ligos LSX MPEG Player codec installed, but when I try to play back a movie straight from a folder on my pc the picture freezes at frame 1, sound plays and counter works. The same movie plays on WMP but I would prefer to remove WMP, and just use Zoom Player, all other movies are fine XVID DIVX etc, I have ony installed video and audio codecs individually as required so have no codec conflicts, having investigated on web is it possible I need ASPI drivers or some kind of filter for Zoom Player, any help appreciated, pls bear in mind I am a novice and no pc genius, thanks.

  2. I suspect that all of the movies doing this are MPEG 1 movies, not MPEG 2. I had the same problem. Find the Ligos decocder's configuration utility (they seem to move it around alot in different versions of the software), the filename is "LSXMpgCfg.exe") and set it to handle MPEG 2 movies only. Since Windows can play MPEG 1 movies without aditional software, it should work fine after this.
