I made a TV capture with my ATI AIW 128 Pro using Lordsmurf's Mpeg capture guide and MMC 7.7. If I burn the VCD with the latest version of Nero, everything plays fine in my standalone, clear pic, in sync, ect. If I edit out the commercials first with Womble Mpeg2VCR 3.14 -latest build I notice there is some blockiness and glitches in the video, but not just at the commercial edits.

Anyone know what would cause this? Im using WinXP Pro SP1a on an Asus K7V and 750 Mhz Duron.

You could try editing the file in Virtualdubmod, then frameserve the result into TMPGENC, then reencode to VCD and see if that helps...

I got the problem sorted. Seems that my video file needed some padding. VCD Easy was the solution, and fixed the file for me. Now it plays back just as flawless as on my PC.
