DVDRW is not working

I installed my new Micro Advantage DVDRW few days ago.
I burned 3 DVDs and it was working good.
Now it won't recognize DVD media (even not DVD original movie).
It recognized regular CDs.

When using the DVD Decryptor S/W i get the following:
"Device not ready (Medium not present-tray closed)" even though i tried to put all kind of media including original DVD.

What is the problem ?

What software are you using to durn the DVDs? Try unistalling and reinstalling the software? I would also unistall and reinstall the driver.

Did you resolve this problem? I purchased the same item from OfficeMax and experienced the same symptoms. I contacted Micro Advantage to see if the firmware upgrade would resolve the problem and they asked for my address and phone number to get me an RMA so I'm assuming that the firmware is not the issue.

I returned it back to officemax

I have had TWO of these drives die on me in the last month.

The second one died tonight. Not sure what my options are. I've probably had it too long at this point to return it to office max.

I am VERY upset about this. I have been using computers for a long time, and have never had TWO of a piece of hardware die like this.
