Panasonic e50 & LG-4040b querie

hi guys i have a panasonic e50 and instead of writing to dvd-r and then editing out the blue menu with "proper" menu on PC i would like to use my DVD-RAM.

Question is, is it just a case of drag n drop video files from RAM 2 "somewhere on PC"

does the panny create mpegs vobs or what ????
