    I am using dvd shrink to back up my movies- I have a movie from france that I reauthor then back up using dvd shrink, I set it to region free when backing up but when the disc is finished it still doesnt play in my player- it acts just like the original disc . any help - please??

    It is probably a PAL encoded DVD and your player is NTSC. Try the guides to convert on the left. Here is another thread on the same subject.
