  1. Prodisc is a lil less expensive. What should I go with? I've experienced with 200 DVD-R of Ritek and they didn't give me any problem.

But I also heard very good comments about Prodisc. How are they rated, considering the life of storage? I don't want my DVDs to go bad after couple years

  2. You might want to have a look at this thread: https://www.videohelp.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=216496&start=0&postdays=0&postorder=asc&...hlight=prodisc

I didn't have issues with Riteks until I picked up some printables that gave me questionable dye blotches after burning. I have not had any issues with matte Riteks though. When I get the chance I'd like to try Prodisc - their price at Rima.com is like $59 for 100, which seems like a real deal.

Til I run out of discs, I'm still using the matte Riteks I have left, along with a 50 pk spindle of Maxells. I've quarantined the Ritek printables along with a few Princos I have left from summer 03.
